WanderLux by Lauren, LLC

Effective Date: June 28, 2026 Last Updated: June 28, 2026

WanderLux by Lauren, LLC ("WanderLux," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using our website or submitting information through our intake questionnaire, you agree to the practices described here.

If you have any questions, contact us at lauren@wanderlux.info.

1. Who We Are

WanderLux by Lauren, LLC is a travel advisory business that designs and arranges custom travel for our clients. We are a limited liability company organized in the State of Tennessee with a registered Florida Seller of Travel (Registration No. ST46522).

We are the "controller" of the personal information you provide to us, meaning we decide how and why it is used.

2. Information We Collect

We only collect information that you choose to provide and that we need to plan your travel. We do not buy personal information about you from outside data brokers.

Information you give us through our intake questionnaire and during planning:

  • Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number.

  • Trip details: destinations, travel dates, budget, number and names of travelers, and your travel preferences.

  • Accessibility and health-related details: dietary restrictions, mobility needs, and any medical or accessibility requirements you share so we can plan a trip that works for you. We treat this as sensitive information (see Section 5).

Information collected automatically by our website platform:

Our website is hosted on a third-party website platform (Squarespace). The platform may place certain cookies and collect limited technical data (such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to keep the site working and, depending on our settings, to measure basic site traffic. See Section 7 for details on cookies.

We do not collect passport numbers, dates of birth, or payment card details through our website intake questionnaire. If a specific booking later requires that information, we will tell you at that time and explain how it will be handled.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and schedule consultations;

  • Research, design, quote, and arrange your travel;

  • Communicate with you about your trip, including updates and follow-ups;

  • Arrange specific services (such as accommodations, tours, or transfers) that you ask us to book on your behalf;

  • Keep records of our work for you; and

  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising to you on behalf of other companies, and we do not sell it.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with any third party for that third party's own marketing purposes.

We share the minimum information necessary only in these limited situations:

  • Travel suppliers you ask us to book. To arrange the trip you request, we may need to provide relevant details to the specific airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, transfer companies, or travel insurers involved in your booking. This can include passenger names and, where you have asked us to accommodate them, your accessibility or dietary needs. We share only what is necessary to fulfill your request.

  • Service providers that help us operate. Companies that run tools we use to do business — such as our website and form platform (Squarespace) and our email provider — process information on our behalf. They are only permitted to use it to provide services to us.

  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of WanderLux, our clients, or others.

If WanderLux is ever involved in a business sale or transfer, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will require the recipient to honor this Privacy Policy.

5. Sensitive and Health-Related Information

Some information you may share — such as dietary, mobility, medical, or accessibility needs — is considered "sensitive" personal information under California law and a "special category" of personal data under the EU/UK GDPR.

We collect this information only when you choose to provide it, and we use it solely to plan and arrange travel that meets your needs. Where the law requires it (for example, under the GDPR), we rely on your explicit consent to handle this information, and we share it with a travel supplier only when doing so is necessary to arrange the accommodations you have requested. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, though doing so may limit our ability to arrange certain accommodations.

6. How Long We Keep Your Information

We store the information of our leads and clients in a customer relationship management (CRM) system, where it is retained and kept up to date so we can serve you over time. We keep this information for the duration of our relationship with you and afterward for as long as needed to maintain our business records and to meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. We also retain it so we can assist you with future travel and send you communications you have agreed to receive.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it. You may ask us to delete your information, or to stop receiving communications, as described in Section 9.

7. Cookies and Tracking

WanderLux does not run its own advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.

However, our website is built on Squarespace, which uses cookies to operate the site. Essential cookies are always used to keep the site functioning. Depending on our platform settings, Squarespace may also use analytics cookies to measure basic visitor activity (such as page views and visitor counts). We do not use this data to build advertising profiles about you.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, though some site features may not work properly if you do.

Note to publisher: By default, Squarespace's built-in analytics may set non-essential cookies. If you want this policy's "no tracking" stance to be fully accurate, disable non-essential cookies in your Squarespace settings (Analytics → Cookies) or add a cookie consent banner. See the note at the end of this document.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard the information you entrust to us.

9. Your Privacy Rights

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know / Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of parties we share it with;

  • Delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;

  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you;

  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide our services;

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information — note that we do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of; and

  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny you services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service for exercising your rights.

To exercise these rights, email us at lauren@wanderlux.info. We will verify your request and respond as required by law.

EU/UK Residents (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to certain exceptions;

  • Restrict or object to how we process your data;

  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format;

  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent; and

  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We rely on the following legal bases to process your data: your consent (which you can withdraw), the performance of a contract (to arrange the travel you request), our legitimate interests in operating our business, and compliance with legal obligations. For sensitive (special category) data, we rely on your explicit consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at lauren@wanderlux.info.

10. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 16 except as part of a family travel booking arranged by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us information without appropriate consent, please contact us, and we will delete it.

11. Links to Other Websites

Our website or communications may contain links to third-party websites (such as travel suppliers). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated as appropriate. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
